Is The Cabin situated within the National Park?
Absolutely! The Cabin resides in Dousland on the western edge of Dartmoor National Park.
What time can we check in from?
Check-in is from 4 pm, however if the property is not occupied prior to your arrival early access can be arranged.
Are towels and bed linen provided?
Towels and bed linen are provided as well as robes.
Is there a secure area to store equipment (bikes, kayaks etc.)?
A lockable storage area is available for guests to store equipment in. We advise bringing your own locks as we cannot be held responsible for any loss, should this arise.
Is there parking at The Cabin?
Off street parking is available for one car. Parking for an additional car is available by prior arrangement.
Is the Cabin's patio area shared?
No. The garden is shared with the owners property, Littlewood, however the Cabin's patio area is for your sole use.
Are Pets allowed?
Regrettably, pets are not allowed at The Cabin.
We expect to arrive late - is this possible?
Late arrival is not a problem as we have a secure lock box for your front door key, just let us know you are likely to be late and we can arrange for a key to be available for you.
When do we need to make payment?
To make a booking, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
Is smoking permitted?
Smoking (or vaping) is not permitted in The Cabin itself, however guests are welcome to smoke on the Patio.
